CAIMANS is a video game music composition and theme-song writing duo. Two brothers, Pietro in Dublin and Luca in Paris, writing interactive scores, film & game soundtracks and
theme songs with lyrics for the creative minds that are building worlds worth scoring.

​   "We started the way a lot of the best things start: two brothers who could never quite stop making music together. What began as a band — Pietro on bass, Luca on guitar and vocals — became something we didn’t expect when, after COVID, the live rooms went quiet and the soundtrack work walked in. We fell in love with it. We found we were good at it. We never looked back."

There is a reason why a Caimans score doesn’t sound like one person’s reflex and that's because it isn’t.

CAIMANS compose from opposite ends of the same song. Pietro grew up playing bass— structural, on the clock, holding the architecture. Luca grew up playing guitar — melodic, roaming, free. Put those two instincts in one room and every idea gets questioned before it gets committed.

“When I come up with something and show it to my brother he can question that direction and better it up. If I was a lone composer, that first direction would just be the direction.”

Our process

Two weeks before we touch an instrument

Ask us what happens when a project lands and the honest answer isn’t ‘we start writing’. For Adiverboz, a story-rich horror game, we didn’t touch an instrument for two weeks. We read the creator’s script, lived inside his references, learned the place he’d built, the characters, their stories — and only then wrote the piece that set the tone for everything that came after.
